About the Instrument
The smRSq was developed and validated to allow reliable, rapid determination of a modified Rankin Scale (mRS) score without requiring an in-person clinical examination, including by telephone.
What It Measures
Overall post-stroke functional disability, expressed as a modified Rankin Scale grade.
Digital Administration
Delivered electronically through the PROMinsight platform as part of a digital patient-reported outcomes workflow.
Scoring / Reporting
A short sequence of structured questions is used to derive the same 0–6 grade as the standard modified Rankin Scale.
