What is MacCAT?
MacCAT is a computerized adaptive testing (CAT) system that measures the impact of age-related macular degeneration (AMD), and associated vision loss and AMD treatments on 7 domains of quality of life, which include:
Activity limitation – 66 items
Lighting – 19 items
Mobility – 23 items
AMD management – 28 items
Emotional – 34 items
Concerns – 42 items
Work – 15 items
It is currently under development and is anticipated to be available in 2024.
