Development of CAT with Institute of Mental Health (Singapore)
PROMinsight is delighted to be collaborating with the Institute of Mental Health to help them develop computerized adaptive tests (CATs) for psychotherapy triage and assessment of patients’ suitability for therapy.
This important work, funded by a National Health Innovation Centre (NHIC) I2D grant, will use novel statistical approaches to select the best questions to predict psychotherapy outcomes, such as engagement and treatment benefit.
PROMinsight will provide consultancy in CAT development and platform hosting capability for the administration of these novel CATs in clinical care.

Running CATs on our testing platform is far easier and cheaper than developing your own CAT platform, which is time and resource-intensive.
Secure
Our CAT platform complies with the technical requirements of HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) and GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). Hosted on a password-protected private virtual cloud server with mandatory access control, all data are encrypted and backed up daily.
Flexible
Our platform can deliver both CATs and non-adaptive, digitalised PROMs, and can manage items using either dichotomous or polytomous response options. Data are provided regularly in secure databases with tailored report generation.
