About the Instrument
QuickDASH is a shortened version of the DASH (Disabilities of the Arm, Shoulder and Hand) questionnaire, jointly developed by the Institute for Work & Health (Toronto) and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
What It Measures
Physical function and symptoms (pain, activity limitation, and social/role participation) related to any upper-limb musculoskeletal condition.
Digital Administration
Delivered electronically through the PROMinsight platform as part of a digital patient-reported outcomes workflow.
Scoring / Reporting
Item responses (1–5) are averaged and transformed to a 0–100 scale, where higher scores indicate greater disability.
