About the Instrument
HOOS-PS was developed by Ewa Roos and colleagues as a brief physical function short form derived from the longer Hip disability and Osteoarthritis Outcome Score (HOOS).
What It Measures
Physical function limitations in daily living activities related to hip problems.
Digital Administration
Delivered electronically through the PROMinsight platform as part of a digital patient-reported outcomes workflow.
Scoring / Reporting
Five items are converted via a published Rasch-based scoring table to a 0–100 physical function score, with higher scores indicating worse function.
