Renal & Chronic Disease
This Health Area covers instruments used to assess the emotional and symptom burden of living with a chronic condition, including diabetes and advanced kidney disease. It includes measures of diabetes-related emotional distress and a palliative care outcome scale adapted for people with advanced renal disease. These instruments are used in chronic disease clinical care and palliative/supportive care research to help understand the wider impact of long-term conditions on patients, and are available for digital administration through the PROMinsight platform.
