About the Instrument
Developed by Spitzer, Kroenke, Williams and colleagues with support from Pfizer, the GAD-7 is one of the most widely used brief anxiety screening and severity measures.
What It Measures
Frequency of core generalized anxiety symptoms over the past two weeks, such as excessive worry and restlessness.
Digital Administration

Scoring / Reporting
Seven items are each scored 0–3 and summed to a 0–21 total, with published severity bands (mild/moderate/severe).
