About the Instrument
FACT-G is the general core questionnaire of the FACIT (Functional Assessment of Chronic Illness Therapy) measurement system, developed under David Cella and colleagues and widely used as the foundation for cancer-specific FACT modules.
What It Measures
Four wellbeing domains: physical, social/family, emotional, and functional wellbeing.
Digital Administration
Delivered electronically through the PROMinsight platform as part of a digital patient-reported outcomes workflow.
Scoring / Reporting
Item responses (0–4) are summed within each subscale (with reverse scoring for negatively worded items) to give subscale and total scores; higher scores indicate better quality of life.

One of the most widely used general cancer quality-of-life instruments, and the base for numerous FACIT disease-specific modules used in oncology trials.
