Healthcare system
In the current era of value-based care, healthcare organisations must be able to measure and improve the outcomes that matter most to patients. Indeed, measurement of patient reported outcomes is increasingly expected by regulatory and government bodies.1,2
PROMinsight is a complete platform solution for the end to end management of PROMs, helping you capture important outcomes directly from patients in the clinic or remotely.
Overcoming the technological, operational and integration barriers related to implementing paper-pencil questionnaires in routine care, the PROMinsight platform can help you deliver seamless experiences for both patients and care teams using a feed-forward model of PROM assessment.
With our CAT tests taking <2 minutes on average to administer, multiple quality of life outcomes can be measured quickly, minimising burden for busy clinics.
BETTER CARE
Incorporating PROMs in healthcare improves doctor-patient communication, promotes shared-decision making, and enables patients’ quality of life concerns to be addressed.
PERSONALISED
With items tailored to a person’s level of the construct, testing is personalised resulting in better patient experience and satisfaction.
SAVES TIME
CAT requires fewer items and 50-90% less time than paper-pencil questionnaires to arrive at equally precise scores, substantially reducing burden for busy clinics.
SAVES RESOURCES
CAT mitigates the need for physical storage of data collection forms, data entry, and manual calculation of scores, saving valuable hospital resources.
With two of our CATs currently being implemented at Mass. Eye and Ear Hospital (GlauCAT) and the Singapore National Eye Centre (IVI-CAT), we are experienced in integrating CATs into hospital system architecture and electronic health record software, and adhering to security requirements.

What is the interoperability of PROMinsight with different EHR systems and how does the integration process work?
PROMinsight is compatible with many EHR systems. Our collaborating software engineers will engage hospital IT personnel to effectively and efficiently initiate full integration of PROMinsight with EHR systems.
Are data secure?
Data collected on our CAT platform are encrypted and stored on a password-protected virtual private cloud server on Amazon Web Services (AWS) with mandatory access control, firewalled from the public network with regular, automated security patches. Data are backed up daily.
Our CAT platform complies with the technical requirements of HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) and GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).
Can patients answer the CATs before attending clinic?
Yes. A secure link to the relevant CAT tests can be emailed to patients prior to their clinic appointment. Patients can answer the tests using their own internet-enabled computer or smart device.
Can people with vision impairment self-administer the CAT tests?
The PROMinsight platform is compatible with disability accessibility standards.
Future upgrades will include text-to-speech and voice response functions to increase accessibility for those with more substantial vision impairment.
